About the Founder
From a childhood marked by instability and uncertainty, Rokia Dedior learned resilience and the power of hope. Despite significant challenges, she built a stable and meaningful life thanks to the support and resources she received along the way, experiences that fueled her lifelong commitment to helping those facing hardship.
Rokia is dedicated to uplifting homeless youth, single mothers, widows with children, and other vulnerable individuals across West Africa. She believes in the transformative power of community support and meaningful opportunities, striving to provide practical resources, guidance, and hope to help people rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
As a PhD scholar in Human Services, Rokia is focused on exploring ways to prevent youth homelessness and strengthen support systems for vulnerable youth. By combining her personal experience with her academic work, she ensures that the initiatives of Fondation Cœur Dedior are both practical and informed by emerging evidence.
Under her leadership, the foundation has made a tangible difference by distributing meals, assisting families in need, helping secure medical care for sick children, and creating opportunities for homeless youth and other vulnerable individuals to showcase their talents and pursue a brighter future.
Rokia’s vision continues to inspire the foundation’s work: to bring hope, restore dignity, and empower those who need it most.

At Fondation Cœur Dedior, our vision is to create a world where every child and vulnerable individual has access to shelter, food, education, and the opportunity to thrive. We believe that no one should be left behind, and through collective action, compassion, and sustainable programs, we strive to break the cycle of poverty and empower communities to rise above hardship.
Our Impact in Action
Ivoire Culinaire – Côte d’Ivoire, December 2024
Fondation Coeur Dedior is dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable populations through focused initiatives. One of these is a culinary contest created by our founder, Rokia Dedior. Held at the end of the year during the holiday season, the contest provides individuals from vulnerable backgrounds with a unique platform to showcase their culinary talents.
Through prizes, equipment, and recognition, participants gain encouragement and support to develop their skills and pursue their passion.
At the finale, Fondation Coeur Dedior also hosts a Christmas tree event, giving gifts to children from vulnerable families who might not otherwise receive holiday presents. Every child deserves the joy of Christmas.
These initiatives reflect our ongoing commitment to empowerment, hope, and lasting positive change.
Sharing Food & Dignity in Guinea
This Ramadan, Fondation Coeur Dedior reached out to those in need across Conakry, Guinea. We provided food supplies to nine (9) mosques to support vulnerable community members and walked the streets to share meals with people experiencing homelessness. Every act of kindness reminded us that together, we can bring hope and dignity to all.

Port Bouët Adjoufou – Sharing Hope Through Rice Kits
In the heart of the Port Bouët Adjoufou neighborhood in Côte d’Ivoire, our team reached out to vulnerable families, widows with children, and single mothers by distributing rice kits. The turnout was overwhelming, a powerful reminder of how great the need is, as so many gathered, each hoping to secure a little rice for their family. This moment was filled with emotion, compassion, and a shared commitment to care for one another.
Sharing Hope in Côte d’Ivoire
During Ramadan, Fondation Coeur Dedior visited the village of Yakassé-Mé in the Adzopé region to distribute food kits to vulnerable families. We thank the local Imam for his warm welcome and prayers for our team. This initiative reflects our commitment to bringing hope and support to communities in need. Join us in making a difference.
Bringing Hope and Warmth to Côte d’Ivoire’s Youth
During our visit to Côte d’Ivoire, we had the privilege of preparing a warm meal and personally delivering it to youth living on the streets. Beyond sharing food, we spent time speaking with them, listening to their stories, and learning why they face life without a home. This experience deepened our commitment to bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to those who need it most.
