HELP AFRICA

Founder

Our founder, Rokia Dedior, grew up in a family marked by instability and uncertainty. Despite the challenges she faced, her perseverance – combined with support from those who believed in her – allowed her to build a stable and hopeful life.

This personal journey inspired Rokia to dedicate herself to supporting homeless youth, single mothers, widows with children, and vulnerable families across West Africa. She understands firsthand the power of compassion, community, and opportunity, and she is committed to extending that same support to others facing hardship.

Rokia’s lived experience continues to guide the foundation’s mission and values. Her story fuels our commitment to creating lasting change, restoring dignity, and empowering individuals to rise above their circumstances.

Fondation Coeur Dedior – Mission

At Fondation Cœur Dedior, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to restore dignity, safety, and opportunity to the most vulnerable individuals across West Africa. We serve homeless young adults, single mothers, widows with children, and families facing extreme hardship.

We provide emergency assistance, safe shelter, essential resources, and long-term support that empowers individuals to rebuild their lives. Guided by compassion and a commitment to equity, we work to ensure that no one is left behind – not in crisis, not in poverty, and not without hope for a better future.

Our Vision

Fondation Cœur Dedior envisions a world where every vulnerable child and individual has access to safety, shelter, nourishment, education, and the opportunity to thrive. We are committed to creating safe, supportive environments – including long-term housing and transitional shelter solutions – that restore dignity, break the cycle of poverty, and empower individuals to rebuild their lives.
