Our founder, Rokia Dedior, grew up in a family marked by instability and uncertainty. Despite the challenges she faced, her perseverance, along with the support of those who believed in her, allowed her to build a stable and hopeful life.
This personal journey inspired Rokia to dedicate herself to supporting homeless youth, single mothers, widows with children, and other vulnerable populations in the United States and internationally, including West Africa. She understands firsthand the power of compassion, community, and opportunity, and is committed to extending that same support to others facing hardship.
Rokia’s lived experience continues to guide the foundation’s mission and values. Her story fuels a deep commitment to creating lasting change, restoring dignity, and empowering individuals to rise above their circumstances.
At Fondation Cœur Dedior, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission is to restore dignity, safety, and opportunity to vulnerable populations in the United States and internationally, including West Africa. We support homeless young adults, single mothers, widows with children, and families facing hardship.
We provide emergency assistance, essential resources, and long-term support that empower individuals to rebuild their lives. Guided by compassion and a commitment to equity, we work to ensure that no one is left behind, especially those facing crisis, poverty, or uncertainty, and that every individual has access to support and hope for a better future.
Fondation Cœur Dedior envisions a world where every vulnerable child and individual has access to safety, nourishment, education, and the opportunity to thrive in the United States and internationally, including West Africa. We envision communities where safe and supportive environments exist for all, including access to stable housing and transitional support systems that restore dignity, break the cycle of poverty, and empower individuals to rebuild their lives.
Empowering communities, supporting vulnerable populations, and creating lasting change in the United States and internationally, including West Africa.
